How it works.
The flexible chest and gas fired heat exchanger form a closed circuit through which the thermal oil circulates. The high speed circulation pump (30m²/h) assures a constant flow of hot thermal oil through the chest, which ensures constant ironing temperatures.
The hart of the steamless laundry.
When you talk about the steamless laundry there is no getting around the ironer. With a constant need for steam at an average of 11 bar, the ironer is the ‘greedy-guts’. Replacing it by a gas heated ironer immediately eliminates the major part of the steam consumption in the laundry.
Even when converting to a steamless laundry is not your goal, it’s still worthwhile to take a look at the gas heated ironer : since 1994 it’s a common fact that a gas heated ironer saves up to 30% on the energy cost.
15 years of expertise = tomorrows’ ironer.
Lapauw already saw the potential of gas heated chest ironers in 1994.
15 years and a few thousand references later you not only have a “battle proven” design but, more important, tomorrow’s ironer : Lapauw combines their know-how with the latest technologies and innovations, allowing you to stay ahead and on top of your energy bill.
Some of the latest innovations are the microprocessor controlled modulating burner and the integrated energy recovery system.
What about the floorspace?
With the heat exchange system integral to the ironer frame work, Lapauw offers the only gas heated ironer on the market with the footprint identical to that of the steam heated ironer. As result you substitute your steam heated ironer by a gas heated without sacrificing valuable space.
But there is more : without a voluminous heat exchange unit at the back of the ironer you avoid additional expenses on your existing folder to overcome that bulky appendix.

G = gas; E = Electric heating; F = Diesel fuel
Electric and diesel fuel heated ironers have the same working principle as the gas heated ironer.
All Lapauw gas heated ironers are standard natural gas heated but can easily be converted to LPG gas
